Sun Island – A Choice for a Better Future of Your Child
Sun Island is dedicated to providing quality preprimary education to children aged from 2 to 6. We aim to nurture their self-esteem, self-caring and self-learning ability as a foundation for life-long learning.
Sun Island adopts a theme-based learning and teaching approach to stimulate the curiosity of students and motivate their interest in learning.Within the spiral lesson plan, various inspiring and interesting learning activities are introduced.
From August 2018 onwards, we publish a monthly newsletter, Sunshine Kids, to share with parents the updated knowledge and skills of parenting young children. The newsletter consists of four parts: the first part is athematic article where by we present concepts and practices relating to early childhood development. The second part highlight the theme of the month’s teaching so that parents are aware of their children’s learning at school. The third part is a Q & A section in which early childhood experts share views to address the issues and concerns that parents raise on child development. Parents also share tips in the last section on games/activities for fostering enjoyable and close parent-child relationship.
Sun Island provides students with many chances to take part in different competitions such as singing, dancing, poetry reciting and design competitions so that they can develop their potentials, cultivate their interest and enhance their self-confidence.
